ABSTRACT
This study was carried out to examine if there is a there is a relationship between customer attendance and adequate market planning. It sought to highlight the importance of customer attendance to business profitability, market research and adequate planning. Using time series, the attendance record of two stores from ShopRite mall, Enugu state was obtained and analysed. The result showed that there is a relationship between customer attendance and adequate planning. This is due to the dynamics emanating from customers needs. The findings also revealed that customer attendance can be affected by socio-economic factors which in return can hamper the profits of businesses.
